Design firm hard at work at Google's London officeFeb 10 2011 ![]() Scott Brownrigg Interior Design has begun work on Google's new London office. "All the Google staff are up for innovation, brilliant ideas and they like to be challenged," Ken Giannini, interior design director of Scott Brownrigg, told the news outlet. "We also recognize that Google is a serious business and demands efficiency, value and solutions that can support their business practices." The designers incorporated plenty of glass to separate meeting rooms and work areas to maximize the use of natural light. In addition, Brownrigg included many design elements to reflect the London-Brighton area, such as brightly colored timber, beach huts and meeting rooms. The designers even included a London staple, the red telephone booth, as a decorative accent. For those looking for earth-friendly style in their window treatments, bamboo shades could be a wonderful option. The durable shades come in a variety of finishes and can bring a warming touch to your home's interior.
