Although James Wood's home is over 150 years old, the Muncy, Indiana abode is still as beautiful as it ever was. According to the Muncy Luminary, Wood and his family are in the process of renovating the home into a magnificent bed and breakfast.

"This is the perfect setting for families or business travelers who seek the warmth of an Inn setting, with greater freedom to come and go as they please and the option to entertain family, friends, or colleagues," Wood told the news source.

Anybody wishing to stay in the house will certainly be treated to a number of lush furnishings. The news provider reports that the parlor in the left of the house is complete with a fireplace and library, a marble topped table and bay windows that provide a fantastic view.

Bay windows can be a great way for homeowners to allow natural light into a room and see outside, but often their size can cause a design dilemma. Experts at HGTV.com suggest hanging roman shades to fix the problem. Industry analyst Amy Bubier says that Roman shades work well because they frame the window and add a textural element as well.
