Measuring Disclaimer

It is the responsibility of the customer to take the measurements for their desired window coverings. If the customer follows the measuring instructions as outlined on the website of the window coverings will fit impeccably.

All of our products are custom made to order so it is very important that you follow our measuring and installation instructions. When you follow our instructions we guarantee your blinds will fit perfectly! It is equally important that you review your email order confirmation for accuracy. Because our products are custom made your card will be charged at the time the order is placed. Of course we realize that mistakes may occur and if we make a mistake on your order we will either repair or remake it at no charge to you. If you make a mistake in measuring or ordering please contact us. Depending on the type of error you may return the product to the factory for alteration or we will have it remade at a discount. Any cost incurred for alterations due to customer's mistakes, including shipping, will be the responsibility of the customer.

Color Disclaimer

Due to the variances among computer monitors the depictions of the colors you see may not be a true representation of the actual color whether it be painted or stained. Therefore, because these limitations restrict our ability to present completely accurate color representations as well as the quality of the product we recommend you complete the following:
  1. Take advantage of our free sample program and order samples of our actual products prior to placing your order. Make sure you order samples of the exact proudct you are purchasing as color names are not the same color from product to product as they are produced by different manufacturers.
  2. To ensure that all of your blinds have the best possible match, we strongly suggest ordering all of your blinds or shades at the same time so the wood is colored from the same dye lot.
  3. Finished product of stained woods may vary slightly from samples due to dye lots and wood grain.
  4. Because our products are custom made and cannot be returned, you must order samples for exact color match.

In the event that a discrepancy arises with the color or measurement of your window coverings or any other reason, Blinds Chalet requires that a digital picture be taken that clearly depicts the discrepancy. At its sole discretion Blinds Chalet may require additional pictures be taken if the variance is not clearly portrayed. These digital pictures will enable Blinds Chalet to expedite the process with our manufacturer.

Natural Wood Grain & Stains

There are natural variances in the wood's color, grain, etc. that cause dye lots to vary in color. Although we consider these variances to be minimal there is no way to assure an exact color with stained wood blinds. Slight variations in dye lots of paints and stains are normal and are NOT considered defective or reason for return of said products.

Backlighting of Fabrics

Blinds Chalet encourages you to check the backlighting of the fabric before placing your order. This simply means, holding the swatch or sample up against the light, to allow you to see the effect of the backlighting, which can soften colors and highlight the fabric. The filtering effect occurs when light filters through fabrics that are more translucent!

Free Shipping

Shipping is free within the contiguous United States for any product under certain sizes. There is a shipping surcharge per order for very large products exceeding the maximum sizes. Shipping is free for ground shipments only. Fees will apply for 2 day or overnight shipping.

**Please keep in mind that each product is shipped according to the time in which it was ordered! This enables us to ship the product to you upon completion, for the fastest delivery. This also means that you may not receive your complete order all in one shipment. This is due to the fact that many of our window coverings are fabricated in different production facilities.

Time of Completion

Blinds Chalet makes every effort to provide a quality product in a reasonable time. There are however, delays from suppliers availability of materials and shipping. Due to these unforeseen delays Blinds Chalet accepts no responsibility for such delays and cannot be held liable for estimated dates of completion. Production times for each product vary but typical production times are 5 to 10 business days. Please allow 2 to 2 1/2 weeks for your order to arrive unless you have chosen to select at your cost the express production upgrade. Blinds Chalet will not be held responsible for any charges incurred for customers scheduling appointments for delivery of window coverings with delivery company or for appoinments with installation companies. In the event the customer incurs any fees for installation caused by items on back order or delays due to the shipping company, Blinds Chalet will not responsible.

Sales Tax

Blinds Chalet is an Arizona based business. For that matter, we must collect 7.8% sales tax on all orders delivered to an Arizona address. However, all other orders outside of Arizona, within the continental United States, will not be charged for sales tax, with the exception of any sales tax that are imposed on Internet sales by law.

Phone Orders

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to review by email confirmation any order placed over the phone. Blinds Chalet STRONGLY recommends reviewing your order as soon as possible. Blinds Chalet will not be held responsible for any errors made in measurement or color selection. Consult our measuring page for any questions regarding measurements for your blinds. Blinds Chalet strongly encourages the ordering of FREE samples prior to placing any order.

Order Processing Fee

Due to the rise in the cost of dispensation freight and fuel, Blinds Chalet has had to regrettably implement a price adjustment for processing and handling costs Our handling fee is only a fraction of our real handling costs, however, it will enable us to consistently give you the lowest blinds prices along with the best quality and service in the industry!

Freight Claims Policy

Upon the arrival of your order, immediately open and inspect it for any possible manufacturing defects or shipping damage. If you find product damaged or defective keep all packaging material as well as all blinds and parts and contact us as soon as possible! We will then require images of any damage or defective products. All remakes must be made according to the specifications given at the time of the original order. No exceptions! Any orders having defects from the manufacturer or from the freight carrier will be replaced or repaired as long as you contact us within 10 days of receipt of your order! Make sure to contact us within the specified 10 days or the defects or damage will be replaced or corrected at your expense. If the product requires replacement, you will be given a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address to return the product. All returns must have an RGA number for a refund or exchange. Keep your orginal boxes and packaging materials in the event you need to return your blinds, Blinds Chalet cannot provide packaging materials. Please inspect your shipment before installing. Blinds Chalet is not responsible for any installation fees.

In the event that your window coverings come damaged due to distress during shipping or manufacturing, please be advised that Blinds Chalet Customer Service may require at its sole discretion that a digital picture be taken of the damaged product and sent to our customer service department. Blinds Chalet may ask for a digital picture to expedite the process of coordinating either a remake or a repair of your window covering. Without a picture Blinds Chalet Customer Service Department can not coordinate either a remake or a repair, without having the original product being sent back to Blinds Chalet’s manufacturer. If a customer is not willing to comply with this request, then it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay for a remake or the repair until the damaged product is sent back to our manufacturing facility where the product was made. After which, Blinds Chalet will credit back the customer for the remake or repair.

If an order is shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address due to the customer's mistake, the customer is responsible for postage to re-ship the blinds. Blinds Chalet is not responsible for mistakes made by the shipping company.

Order Changes and Cancellations

All sales are final, so be sure to double check the width, length, desired color, and all options before placing your order. We cannot guarantee any changes after placing your order but will do our best. In the event that you wish to cancel your order or make a change, the request must be made with Customer Service within the same business day. To ensure proper handling, all order changes or cancellations must be made over the phone after which you will be required to submit the changes or cancellation in writing via email to the assigned customer service agent you speak with over the phone. In most cases production begins within 24 hours from the time the order is placed. However, products that are made under express production do not qualify for any changes or cancellations because they are immediately sent into production. We will do everything we can to assist your needs. However, each cancellation or change is contingent upon our ability to cancel or change the order with our manufacturer. Orders may not be cancelled due to delays in shipping. Customer Service Department will issue an authorization number to you, if the item(s) can be cancelled or changed.

Discounts, coupons, and promotions are final at the time of sale. Discounts may not be adjusted after final sale is made. Only one coupon may use per order.

No changes/cancellations allowed on Rush Delivery Orders.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and for this reason we offer a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee. Since all products are custom made to order for each customer, they cannot be returned except for warranty repair. We understand that your window coverings are a substantial investment, for this reason we require that free samples must be obtained before ordering to qualify for the Satisfaction Guarantee. This will allow you to view the samples and see any color variations that may occur from monitors, manufacturers, and different lighting environments. Therefore, if the blinds conform to the sample, blinds may not be returned for any of these reasons. In the event that you're not satisfied with your window coverings, will make every effort to realize your complete satisfaction. Blinds may not be returned due to mistakes made by customers measurement, incorrect ordering, stained woods and fabrics that vary slightly due to dye lots or wood grain, shipping issues out of our control, etc. Products within the same room should be ordered at the same time to ensure proper matching. Blinds Chalet must be notified with 10 days from date of receipt for any problems and Blinds Chalet has the option to remake or repair the existing blinds. Commercial and contract orders are not covered under this guarantee.

All returns must be given a Return Authorization Number(RGA) and shipping address to return the product. Keep your orginal boxes and packaging materials in the event you need to return your blinds, Blinds Chalet cannot provide packaging materials. All returns must be shipped to in new condition within 30 days of receipt, preceded by prior authorization that has been accepted by Customer Service Department. Drapery Hardware Return Policy
All drapery rods are custom made to your specifications and changes are not possible once your order has been confirmed. No exchanges or refunds.
Rings, standard brackets and tiebacks may be returned within 30 days of shipment date, when authorized by Blinds Chalet, and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Return authorization number is required BEFORE they can be returned, and purchaser will be responsible for return shipping.

Dispute Resolution

In the event that Blinds Chalet cannot resolve a dispute involving any of the following: Shipping, Policies regarding measuring your order, Online Ordering and Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, both parties agree to settle any disputes through Arbitration. All matters regarding any disputes will be settled by an arbitrator from the pool of retired judges from the American Arbitration Association. All decisions settled in arbitration are binding. All arbitration proceedings shall be filed in Mesa, Arizona. United States Law will apply in all cases involving arbitration and the prevailing party will be responsible for the reasonable costs and attorney fees. This section does not cover all your rights pertaining to arbitration. If you would like to find out more regarding your rights please feel free to do so.



Limited Lifetime Warranty - This warranty is offered through the manufacturer(s) to the original purchaser of the blinds and covers any defects in materials of workmanship for the life on all the products, however, will act as the liaison in coordinating any warranty issues between the manufacturer and the customer. reserves, at its discretion, the right to repair, replace or refund any blinds found defective. This will be your sole remedy under this warranty. Shipping for warranty issues past 60 days from the date of purchase is the responsibility of the customer to and from the repair facility. Packaging on return shipments is the responsibility of the customer.

This warranty does not apply to any parts which fail due to accident, alteration, improper use, abuse, neglect, normal wear, and color fading to sunlight, direct exposure to salt air or improper cleaning. All fabrics can lose original intensity after long exposure to the sun. When left for extended periods in direct sunlight, plastics tend to yellow and crack. All cords will eventually wear out. Some slight warpage, as well as natural variations in color and grain effect, are normal with a wood product and are not considered defects. In addition, some fading and/or discoloration of the finish may occur over time. This is common with man made coatings and is not considered a defect.

This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties, whether written or oral.

At Blinds Chalet your security is our top priority. We use all the latest technology to ensure your information is secure. When ordering we encrypt your credit card information using a standard SSL Certificate. We also do not save any of your credit card information. Our employees also do not have access to this information.

There are two types of information that we collect. They are traffic data and personal information.
