Day/Night Shades

Blinds Chalet Day/Night Shades offer the versatility many customers are looking for when deciding on window treatments for their rooms. With Day/Night Shades you are getting two different shades in one product! The top part of the shade, or day side, is light-filtering or sheer material depending on which product you choose. The bottom part of the shade, or night side, will come with room-darkening blackout material. This functionality is unique and extremely useful for rooms where you want to have privacy and allow ambient light in during the day, but eliminate the ambient light while you are sleeping. This product is also popular for customers with home theaters.

These Day/Night Shades share the same headrail. This means installation is simple like installing any other honeycomb cellular shade. You will also notice another color-coordinated rail that separates the light filtering material from the blackout material. This middle rail is used for stability and does not detract from the look of the shade. Typically, the color of the material will be the same on both sides of your shade unless stated otherwise in the product description.

Several Day/Night Shades give you the option to choose different colors for the light filtering and blackout materials. This allows you to choose a lighter color for the top half of the shade. Free cordless upgrades are available for several of these Day/Night Shades making them safe for children and pets. The sheer material used in the premier Day/Night Shade will not give you the privacy during the day that you will find with other Day/Night Shades; however, since room darkening material is attached to the bottom half, you will have the privacy when needed.

The Blinds Chalet Day/Night Shades are made with honeycomb cell shade fabrics for added insulation and energy savings. Color between the translucent and the blackout fabrics may vary slightly due to the blackout liner inside the honeycomb cell shades.
