Roman shades can be great addition to large windows
However, according to Better Homes and Gardens, their size can also be a problem when it comes to decorating them.
One option, the news source reports, is to simply hang curtains that provide a sufficient amount of privacy while not completely eliminating the view that makes the window so appealing.
Hanging roman shades on floor to ceiling windows can also be a great choice. Experts recommend roman shades because they can make it easier to allow different amount of light into a room. Not only that, but when they are down they can block harmful UV rays and help keep rooms cool as the temperature begins to climb.
"Around the end of July, the real heat waves begin," says Chris Stanley of Blinds Chalet. "This is when people realize they need shades or blinds for their windows and they need them quickly."
