Blackout Shades – I Can Finally Get a Good Day’s Sleep!

Blackout Shades made me a believer!  I don’t know if this is even worthy news of your blog, but I just wanted to let you know that Blinds Chalet really helped me finally get a good day’s sleep!

I am a county employee who lives in Gilbert, Arizona.  I work for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office as a detention officer at Tent City.  I am on the swing shift so I don’t end up getting home from work until about 4:00 am.  By the time I finally get to bed, the sun is just starting to rise.  We had curtains in my room, but every time the swamp cooler came on, the curtains would start blowing around and caused several gaps that allowed too much light in the room, and it would usually hit me right in the eyes.  Two weeks ago I’d had enough, so  I started looking on the Internet at what I could do to block the light.  One site I visited suggested I put tin foil in the windows to black them out.  It seemed like a good plan, but it was like a heater turned on in my room.  Also, when my wife saw what it looked like from the outside, she came right in and tore it all down.

We shopped on the Internet and found your site.  There were some blackout shades available called the SlumberShade 3/8" Blackout Double Cell Shades.  They slide on a track, which appealed to me, because it seemed like that would really be effective at keeping light outside and dark inside!  We called, and because we live near the Mesa area, your people said they would come install them, which they did.

Oh my gosh!  The first day I slept with the new blackout blinds, I could not believe the difference.  I was so sound asleep, that I slept in past my alarm, and when I woke up, I thought that it was dark outside … that’s how much they black out the light!  It was also much cooler in my room.

That following day, my wife and I decided that we would call and have the rest of our house outfitted with the same blinds.  Wow, what a difference it made in our utility bill, not to mention that my wife loves how they make the windows look from the outside too.

I guess this is just a thank you note for Blinds Chalet and their staff. It is from a very appreciative, and well-rested customer for life!

Light matters in your life. We all want light, nobody wants to live in darkness. But some times lights are really annoying. You could use some Blackout blinds treatments and if they are done right will make all the difference in your life.

  • Shipping for warranty issues is the responsibility of the customer to and from the repair facility. Packaging on return shipments is the responsibility of the customer.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days after we receive the items (Guaranteed to Love fee is not refundable).

Shutters,custom graphic shades, commercial/dealer orders are not covered.
