Materials

Our solar screen shades are made of sheer weave fabric, allowing customers to choose what level of sunlight they want allowed in their home. The tighter the weave of the fabric, the less amount of sunlight that is able to stream through the fabric. Special materials can be found on two different products; Silver Screen Solar Roller Shades and Signature Screen Roller Shades. The first employs SilverScreen fabric that comes with the exterior side coated in aluminum as to better reflect sunlight away from the window. The latter is made from 100% PVC-free and 100% recyclable materials.

Features

  • Due to their fabric, solar screen shades are energy efficient, helping to keep houses cool in the summer and warm in winter.
  • The solar screen’s sun blocking abilities help to minimize effects of the sun, such as fading and sun glare on screens.
  • With different weaves in the fabrics available, how much sunlight is blocked by the shades is entirely customizable.

Options & Upgrades

  • Cassette Headrail / Fascia Valance - With both of these upgrades, the roll of the blinds is hidden. The cassette headrail uses matching material to offer a clean, finished look. Fascia valances not only hide the roll at the top, but also the mounting brackets.
  • Reverse Roll / Standard Roll - Standard roll is where the shades roll off the back of the roller, showing the back of the fabric when it is wrapped around the roller. Reverse roll entails the shades coming over the front and covering the roller.
  • Motorization / Remote Control - A cordless option for shades which involves either a remote control or wall control.

Things to Think About

A lower percentage listed on a product means less light is allowed through the shades.

The solar screen shades with the most color options available are the Signature Screen Roller Shades.

Sunlera Sun Screen Shades offer different percent openness fabric ranging from 1% to 14%.

  • In the event that a product, color or product feature has been discontinued and it is no longer available we will provide a substitute product as similar as possible to the original blind or shade.
  • Shipping for warranty issues is the responsibility of the customer to and from the repair facility. Packaging on return shipments is the responsibility of the customer.

30 Day Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them for store credit, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).

Shutters,custom graphic shades, commercial/dealer orders are not covered.
