The material of our Roman shades often depends upon the product that is chosen. The Solid Printed Roman Shades comes in a variety of fabrics, such as satin, silk, and cotton. Our cordless magnetic, light filtering, and blackout roman shades are all made out of 100% polyester. Lastly, our floral/pattern and striped roman shades are produced using drapery fabrics. No matter the material, our roman shades are manufactured to be durable and high quality.

When the panels of the shades are pulled completely up they stack evenly at the top, providing a clean look.

Roman Shades Upgrades

Hobbled fold / Teardrop - Putting additional material between each panel of the shades creates a fuller look.
Flat Fold - For a contemporary style, flat fold pulls the fabric tight between each of the panels.
Top Down Bottom Up / Duofold - With this upgrade, the shades can either be lifted or closed in a regular manner, or they can be lowered from the top down. This unique feature allows users to let light into a room from the top of the window while still maintaining privacy.
Cordless Lift - Bypassing the use of a traditional pull-cord to maneuver the shades, cordless lift makes it so that the shades can be lifted and lowered by simply using the bottom panel.
Rollease / Continuous Cord - The cord to the shades is styled in a loop, so that you can continuously pull them up or down. This upgrade makes raising larger shades easier.

Things to Think About

Lifting cords to the roman shades only come in white and off-white, so this should be kept in mind when choosing the color of the shades as a whole.

Both Valencia Light Filtering Roman Shades and Valencia Blackout Roman Shades have a production time of 21-24 days.
