The shutters were beautiful and well-made. The measurement were just right too. So overall, I am very happy. Just a suggestion, in the store, I couldn't find the glue mentioned in the instructions. I had to guess at a different type. It would be helpful to have the glue included. Also, I found the instructions a bit vague.

Just make sure the customer knows that the manufacture takes a deduction in the measurement to fit the window before the customer ok's the order.

Shutters look very good and arrived in a timely matter. The directions though were missing at least one page. When I finally found the page on the manufacturers website they were very unclear. In my previous career I installed and repaired blinds and shades, so I know what I am doing. I would recommend professional installation to any novice, or I would have blinds chalet create a new instruction manual with photos (not line drawings) that guide you step by step through the assembly and installation. I ended up with shutters I am very happy with, however they do not open or close easily (the vanes do however) and I could not find how to make adjustments on them. My house is brand new with perfectly square and level openings. In the future I would buy these again, however that is only because I suffered through the installation before and know what I am doing. If I was to be a first time buyer I would shy away from a DIY install.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them for store credit, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).

Shutters,custom graphic shades, commercial/dealer orders are not covered.
