I have windows that are high above the ground. What is the best way to high window with blinds?
A:
There are a few options for covering high, hard to reach windows. The first question to ask is whether you want to be able to operates the blinds and shades. Because privacy usually is not an issue with high windows one option is to choose a horizontal blind or shutters in which the slats or louvers can be left partially open. Also, you can choose a window shade with a sheer or a light filtering material. This allows light to enter the room but it positioned correctly the us rays will not beat down on you. This option is only viable if light control is not an issue.

If you would like to be able to block the light but allow it in at certain times you need to choose a window covering that will allow you to operate it. There are a couple options. First you can request longer control cords so you can reach them. Some window shades have the option to operate with an extension pole that is removable. A third option is motorization. Motorization allows the window blinds to be opened from the ground via a remote control.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them for store credit, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).

Shutters,custom graphic shades, commercial/dealer orders are not covered.
