We ordered the Tavarua Woven Wood Shades, with the privacy liner. Esthetically, they are just gorgeous and I've gotten many compliments. The natural look of the woven reeds is very nice. The option to use only the shade or the shade with the privacy liner works perfectly for our south facing kitchen.

However, I have had difficulties with the functional aspect of the blinds. Our's were ordered for an inside mount. We find that there is just not enough leverage with an inside mount cord to securely position either the liner or the shade. It's awkward to get the right angle with the cords. They either catch on the blinds or you cannot pull it hard enough to catch it from dropping.

I would recommend that you use an outside mount with this type of shade, for optimal access to both the liner and the shade cord's and easy positioning.

  • Shipping for warranty issues is the responsibility of the customer to and from the repair facility. Packaging on return shipments is the responsibility of the customer.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them for store credit, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).

Shutters,custom graphic shades, commercial/dealer orders are not covered.
