Installation: I installed my own blinds!
The shades are very nice. The plastic side tracks were cut too long and had to be shortened. One was almost 1/4" too long. One of the length adjustment cords was almost too short. All in all I am quite satisfied with them and will probably be ordering again.

They give complete privacy, yet let light in. The only problem with installation was that I have arches over several windows and you can only install via overhead/top fixation. Had to attach a board across it and then could finish the job.

These shades are very nice looking. Extremely effective in keeping the heat out. At the end of a sunny day when you open the shades, you can feel the heat pouring out from behind them--I can imagine they are saving quite a bit of energy by keeping them closed on hot days in the summer. I only wish I had ordered these for my bedroom because they would be great as a black-out shade, not allowing any light to get through on the sides.

Good fit with quick an easy install. The pleats are so tight/compacted that shade can not be pulled down fully as top down feature separates shade from top rail by 6 - 8 inches. I know it takes time to train/stretch material, but I can't believe it will ever by correct. One fix I will install is a removable catch to hold top of shade to top rail to help with pulling shade full down position and aid in stretching material.

Not difficult to install, but not that easy, either. There was a problem with the instructions which I can't remember specifically now. They really do insulate...noticeable difference in what is an underheated room.
