Made from high quality point bond fabric with a mylar layer inside each cell for excellent light control and insulation. Blackout cell shades are a great way to reduce your energy costs.

Available in our most common blackout fabric colors with a matching pvc headrail. Our blackout cordless cell shades are perfect for areas with children or pets. Designed with no visible cords, these pull down blinds are child safe.

Note: Made with blackout fabric and designed for near-total blackout, these shades block about 99% of light. Minimal edge gaps may allow a small amount of light in, which is standard for blackout shades. For added light control, consider adding our Side Light Blockers.

The headrail dimensions are 1 3/4" x 1 1/2"

What are the minimum depth requirements for inside mount?

Minimum mounting depth and flush mounting depth may vary by the lift control and other options. Please check our specifications based on your configuration.
Our standard lift configuration has the following minimum mounting depths:

I like to keep my window open at night, do these blinds allow the air to flow through them?

This fabric has a mylar coating on the inside to each honeycomb cell. It is a little like having tin foil on the inside of each cell. It would not allow air to pass through the shade. This product is a very energy efficient shade that actually traps air in the cells. This will keep the heat and cold out.
