Our RV roller shades come standard with a heat-sealed enclosed aluminum hembar to ensure you won’t experience the “clanging” of the window shade against the window when you are driving down the road.

Each roller shade comes with a cordless lift so there are no dangling cords bouncing as you travel. Simply raise and lower the RV shades by tugging on the bottom of the blinds. Our ease-up mechanism uses a spring-loaded braking system to reduce rewind speed. This causes the raising of the camper window shades to be slow and controlled. I have window valences in our bedroom. Will I have to remove the valances to accommodate these blinds?

I would guess that you would have to remove the valances in order to install any window treatment. The RV roller shades are pretty bulky and large, you will need about 4" of space to install and operate roller shades in your motor home.

What color is the backside of the side (i.e. facing outside)

They are going to be the same color as the front of the shade.

we are thinking about installing these on all our windows in our motorhome...but before i take the shades i have down....are these REALLY blackout. will anyone be able to see in the bedroom at night if the lights are on?

Yes they are made with a blackout fabric. The only light that can enter would be between the shades and the edges of the window.
