If you are mounting blinds or shades to fit within any openings such as between cabinets or walls use inside mount.
Mount Type:
Specify the mount type of the blind or shade. Blinds can be mounted inside the window frame or on the wall or ceiling outside the window frame. If mounting inside a window frame ensure your windows are the proper depth to allow the blinds to fit. Outside mount ensure you do not have any trim or other obstructions.

Our 8 gauge aluminum window mini blinds are custom made from "spring tempered" aluminum slats. Built with a thicker contractor grade aluminum slat.

Each aluminum blind comes with a matching 2 slat valance, color coordinated cords and ladders, and wand tilt. Optional channel valance upgrade available for a more pleasing look.

The cordless headrail is 1" high and 1 1/8" deep, and is a u-shape channel. The flush mounting depth is 1.750".

Because large blinds are difficult to raise and lower, the 2 on 1 headrail option allows two smaller blinds to share a common headrail and valance. This gives the overall blinds a cleaner appearance.
Cordless Lift
Raise and lower your blinds without cords. This upgrade is great for homes with children because there are no dangerous lift cords. Not recommended for sizes wider than 96 inches.

The wand motorization is ideal for child safety with no lift cords. With the press of a button raise and lower the shades with ease. Are the 1 inch gauge aluminum blinds room darkening blinds or light filtering blinds?

They are going to help filter the light out of the room however not listed as a "Room Darkening or "Light Filtering". The slats themselves will block all light but there will be light seepage between each slat as well as the route holes for the lift cords.

The 8 gauge blinds are a superb value. I bought cheap blinds from the home stores for years, they were always a hassle to install and always required tedious adjusting (and early replacement). Chalet 8 gauge blinds are very sturdy (as blinds go) and a perfect fit every installation for me so far.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address to return the product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed 2-3 business days after receiving the items (Guaranteed to Love fee is not refundable).
