The product looks very good, the price reasonable, and I feel the quality was somewhat better than expected. Two things keep me from giving a perfect score. 1) automatic status of my order was not provided. After the published turn time passed (and I hadn't heard anything from you) I had to call and find out status. 2) The hardware and instructions for mounting the cornice-style cover was inadequate. I ended up mounting it with something other than what was supplied.

I am a very satisfied customer. The ordering process was very simple and I loved my blinds. The only thing I suggest is for the website to have a better "How to Install" guide (pdf) for the regular blinds.

WE did find the instructions for the inside mount to be a little off technically, but it was easy to determine our own measurements to mount them properly. This was my first experience with Blinds Chalet and it was perfect. The price and quality of the faux wood blinds was fantastic. I ordered 11 window blinds on Thursday evening and the blinds were delivered the next Friday morning. I priced the same type of blinds at Lowe's and they would have taken longer to get and the price was almost double. I'm sold on Blinds Chalet.

I was very happy with the blinds I ordered. I was a little hesitant to order because even through the price was good.. I was afraid the quality would not be up to par. That was not the case. They are beautiful I would encourage other clients to order BUT you have to be super careful with measurements. I measured my own and remeasured. My total order was 11 blinds. I found an installer on Thumbtack. He charged me 15.00 a blind and I was glad to pay it. Looks Great.

The shades look great. My only regret was not measuring all three windows; one was 1/2" more narrow so I had to order a new shade. That might be a good suggestion in the ordering instructions for a naive buyer like me. Also, I installed the brackets as instructed and then realized they would be better installed further away from the window; then the cords could hang more perpendicular. The pros who installed the shades we replaced had the brackets further from the window.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them for store credit, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).
