Customization and Design

Features such as hidden tilt rods, custom paint or stain finishes, specialty shapes, and panel configurations can increase the overall cost.

Number of Panels

Wider windows may require multiple panels, which adds to both material and labor costs.

Installation

Professional installation typically adds to the total cost, but ensures a proper fit and long-term performance.

Real Wood vs Faux Wood Shutter Cost

Real wood shutters are generally more expensive than faux wood shutters due to the cost of natural materials and craftsmanship.

  • Real wood shutters: $200 – $800+ per window

  • Faux wood shutters: $150 – $650 per window
