When ordering, use the following guidelines:
  • INSIDE MOUNT: Enter exact size from inside of valance box to inside of valance box.
    Factory Adjustment: The factory will make approximately 1/2" adjustment to the overall size to ensure that it fits properly. They will also take an additional deduction of 1/2" from the fabric for standard shades and 1" from the fabric for motorized shades. This is necessary to allow room for the hardware and mechanisms.
  • OUTSIDE MOUNT: Enter the size you wish the blinds to be made.
    Factory Adjustment: The factory will make a deduction of approximately 1/2" from the fabric only for standard shades and 1" from the fabric only for motorized shades. This is necessary to allow room for the hardware and mechanisms. See specifications for complete deductions or additions.
  • For more help, please see our measuring instructions.

Note: Width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8". Measurement is for tip to tip on the brackets on the headrail and not the fabric width. Fabric size will be slighly smaller to allow for the controls, etc.
If you are mounting blinds or shades to fit within any openings such as between cabinets or walls use inside mount.

Specify the mount type of the blind or shade. Blinds can be mounted inside the window frame or on the wall or ceiling outside the window frame. If mounting inside a window frame ensure your windows are the proper depth to allow the blinds to fit. Outside mount ensure you do not have any trim or other obstructions.

Blackout Vinyl RV Roller Shades are made with a room-darkening fabric to help with light control. Lower the shade for privacy and to block the light. Rest well with a dark interior to your RV.

Our RV roller shades come standard with a heat-sealed enclosed aluminum hembar to ensure you won’t experience the “clanging” of the window shade against the window when you are driving down the road.

Each roller shade comes with a cordless lift so there are no dangling cords bouncing as you travel. Simply raise and lower the RV shades by tugging on the bottom of the blinds. Our ease-up mechanism uses a spring-loaded braking system to reduce rewind speed. This causes the raising of the camper window shades to be slow and controlled. These included features improve your overall experience with using the rv blackout shades while on the road.

Adding window coverings to your recreational vehicle helps protect your furnishings as well as the temperature control.

I have window valences in our bedroom. Will I have to remove the valances to accommodate these blinds?

A:
I would guess that you would have to remove the valances in order to install any window treatment. The RV roller shades are pretty bulky and large, you will need about 4" of space to install and operate roller shades in your motor home.

What color is the backside of the side (i.e. facing outside)

we are thinking about installing these on all our windows in our motorhome...but before i take the shades i have down....are these REALLY blackout. will anyone be able to see in the bedroom at night if the lights are on?

Yes they are made with a blackout fabric. The only light that can enter would be between the shades and the edges of the window.

I ordered blackout shades for my RV. They came nicely packaged but I wanted additional mounting brackets (clips) I go on some pretty rough roads. They sent me additional clips at no charge in record time. Very helpful and friendly customer service.

Good quality product. Fit was a little tight inside the hard valence boxes in our trailer. When ordering more I will take off an inch to my dimensions so they fit easier. They do take off a little from the measurement you send them, but I would prefer a little more room.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them for store credit, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).
