Tavarua Bamboo Ring Drapery

Each Tavarua Bamboo Drapery is made with ring grommets to hang the shades from a drapery rod(not supplied). Each ring grommet is 1 1/2" in diameter and will fit virtually any drapery rod. Draperies 48" or more come as two panels split draw, under 48" they will come as a single panel.

Each bamboo drapery is bound on all four sides with edge binding at no additional charge. This helps protect the woven wood drapes from damage as well as add a touch of color to your decor.

Each vertical bamboo drapery comes with two panels for center opening. Due to the weight it is expected that the drapery rod will need a center support.

Factory will make proper allowances for your width and determines the number of grommet rings and fullness of the bamboo drapery. The fullness will vary based on size but is typically between 30% to 50%, so your drapery will retain its folds when the drapery is fully extended. When measuring height on outside mount shades, we recommend a 3/4" gap between the bottom of the bamboo curtains and the floor.

The characteristics of Natural Woven Woods allow for variances in color, tone and texture from the sample swatches. The size and shapes of the slats will vary and are not considered defects. Spacing of the slats will vary over time. Slight color variations are normal and may change over time and are not considered defects. Each shade is considered unique and original. For complete privacy or light blocking it is strongly recommended that you add a liner to the shade.

Because of the nature of natural woven wood shades liners are recommended for privacy and/or light filtration.

	Edge Binding Edge Binding are cloth tapes that are wrapped on the edge of the shades to help prevent fraying as well as adding an elegant look to the shades. Our standard edge binding is 1 1/4" wide with approximately 1/2" of fabric showing on each side of the shades.
	Blackout Liner Add additional privacy and block the light by adding this upgrade to your shades. Our standard blackout liners offered in white.
	Privacy Liner Add additional privacy and light blockage to your shades by adding this upgrade to your shades. Tavarua shades come with natural color privacy liner. All other woven wood shades offer a white liner.

Shipping
Each of our blinds and shades are custom made to your specifications. You can expect them to arrive approximately 2 to 2 1/2 weeks after ordering. Standard shipping is UPS or FedEx ground.

	Liner Color Fabric color on either a blackout or a privacy liner. Liners are designed for privacy as well as light control. Liners are white towards the window side of the shades with the color selected towards the interior of the home.

Can you hang inside the door frame? These are oversized sliding doors.

The Tavarua drapery is hung using grommets that go onto a drapery rod. It is most commonly installed outside the window frame above the door or window. We don't recommend installing within a window frame.

Once we order the drapery, how long does it take to ship?

This product takes about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks for production and delivery.

I absolutely love my new bamboo drapes! I was hesitant to order online, because they seemed a bit pricey, but they are totally worth the price. If you are looking for a good quality window covering for a slider for a tropical décor, this is it! The regular shipping was very quick, too.

Wonderful draperies! Unfortunately hanging them was a challenge due to their weight. There really should be an associated rod and support system sold for these. We managed, but it took a fair amount of engineering and creativity.
