Honeycomb Shade TermsR-Value: Measures resistance to heat flow. The higher the r-value, the better the window shades insulate and conserve energy.
Shading Coefficient: Measures how much heat passes through the window shades. The lower the shading coefficient, the more heat the window treatments block and the better they save energy.
UV Blockage: Measure how much UV rays window coverings block. UV rays can be harmful to home furnishings. They can fade wood, fabrics and carpet. Window shades with a higher UV Blockage can save your home from harmful UV Rays.
