Ideal for optimal control of light, energy efficiency and privacy, the ¾” single cell blackout shades provide attractive and durable coverings for your windows. The material is designed to allow for complete room darkening, whether you choose the UltraCel point bond or the SoftCel spun lace fabric options. And the D-cell construction of these honeycomb shades is notoriously durable, maintaining the beauty and shape of each cell for years to come.

Production begins immediately on our Energy Guard 3/4" Blackout Single Cell Shades. For this reason NO changes can be made after your order is placed on this product. Please double check your order BEFORE completing.

Note: This product may be up to 6" larger in height than ordered.

Note: Made with blackout fabric and designed for near-total blackout, these shades block about 99% of light. Minimal edge gaps may allow a small amount of light in, which is standard for blackout shades. For added light control, consider adding our Side Light Blockers.

Continuous Cord Loop
This lift option has a looping lift cord adjacent to the shade. The fabric/material is narrower on the control side allowing the control to hang to the side without interfering with the lift of the shade. Shades with Continuous Cord Loop option may have a light gap on black-out shades.

Cordless Lift
Raise and lower your blinds without cords. This upgrade is great for homes with children because there are no dangerous lift cords. Not recommended for sizes wider than 96 inches.

Note: Cell shade cordless headrails come with a white headrail.
Top Down-Bottom Up
Lower the shades from the top or raise them from the bottom. This option allows you to do either or both at the same time. Lower your shades from the top allowing for privacy while the shades are partially open.

Note: Two separate cords on opposite sides of the shade. Can only come with lift cord on the right and the top down cord on the left.

What are the minimum depth requirements for inside mount?

Minimum mounting depth and flush mounting depth may vary by the lift control and other options. Please check our specifications based on your configuration.
Our standard lift configuration has the following minimum mounting depths:
Minimum mounting depth: 0.750"
Minimum flush mounting depth: 2.250"

What is the differences between the UltraCel point bond or the SoftCel spun lace fabric options? Is it textural, appearance, light control, or energy efficiency or all of those?

The difference is the Ultracel is a thinner papery type of material with a point bond texture. The Softcel is exactly how it sounds. It's softer and more of a fabric feel.

What is the R Value for this honeycomb shade?

I love these single cell shades. I ordered a sample and the color was perfect. They fit nice and really keep the room dark. I do suggest you Order a sample first because sometimes the name of the color doesn't match what you think the color should be. I will be ordering more for my other rooms!!!

What Is Covered

Our window coverings are covered against manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship when used as intended, provided that:

  • The product has been correctly measured, installed, and operated.
  • All Blinds Chalet guidelines regarding product limitations, maintenance, and care have been followed.

Who Is Eligible

This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.


Blinds Chalet’s Responsibility

If a covered defect is confirmed, Blinds Chalet will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace affected parts, or provide a comparable replacement.


Costs not included: The customer is responsible for expenses related to shipping as well as any measuring, installation, removal, or reinstallation services. Labor charges, service visits, and similar costs are not covered by this warranty.

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  • Improper measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear, including fading, discoloration, or deterioration from sunlight or moisture.
  • Frayed cords, cord breakage, or reduced cord performance due to age or heavy use.

Fading and normal aging of materials are expected characteristics and are not considered defects.


Warranty Limitations

This warranty is exclusive and replaces any other expressed or implied warranties. No Blinds Chalet employee or representative is authorized to modify or extend these terms.


Blinds Chalet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product use or failure.

Resolution on Warranties and Guarantees
  • BlindsChalet.com reserves, at its discretion, the right to repair, replace or refund any blinds found defective. Limit 1 remake per covered product.
  • If there are multiple blinds/shades in the same room, only the defective product will be replaced/repaired.
  • In the event that a product, color or product feature has been discontinued and it is no longer available we will provide a substitute product as similar as possible to the original blind or shade.
  • Shipping for warranty issues is the responsibility of the customer to and from the repair facility. Packaging on return shipments is the responsibility of the customer.
  • If a product or component has been discontinued, Blinds Chalet will repair or replace the affected part with the closest available match in design and color.

Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).
