How will I get Tax Credit Certificate for window blinds purchased?

We offer through our manufacturer federal tax credit on the purchase of EnergyTrack or Comfortrack shades. To qualify for your tax credit on window blinds, purchases must be made before December 31st, 2010.

Because the ComforTrack shades are specifically designed with energy savings in mind they may qualify for Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency. President Obama signed a stimulus bill on Feb. 17, 2009 that included tax credits on items purchased that create energy savings in existing homes. The federal tax credit is for 30% of the purchase up to $1500 on windows and doors, insulation products, and more.

To qualify for your tax credit, purchase ComforTrack shades before the end of 2010, submit your taxes with the Certification Statement from Comfortex as well as a receipt of the purchase. As always contact your accountant to ensure you qualify.
