These solar screen roller shades offer a 1% openness factor for more privacy and less light that is perfect for minimal light to enter the room. Although screen shades do not offer complete privacy, the tighter the weave the less light can pass through screen fabric.

Solar screen roller shades are perfect for light control in offices, restaurants, or anywhere you need to block uv rays with some light entering the room. Sun screen roller shades are excellent for energy savings, heat reduction and glare reduction.

Each of our sun screen roller shades comes with a visible roll. Upgrade to a decorative square aluminum valance or a matching fabric fascia.GreenGuard

Square Aluminum Fascia Valance
3" and 4" square aluminum fascia is made from an "L" shaped aluminum extrusion, covering the bottom and front of the roller. Valance snaps into brackets and fittings concealing the roller.

Size varies based on the roller thickness or length of the shade. Available in standard roll only, not available in reverse roll.
Motorization
Make sure to order at least one remote or smart hub to control your motorized shades. One remote can operate more than one shade. Raise and lower your window shades with the touch of a finger. Our remote controlled shades use a radio technology system.
Curved Fascia w/ Fabric Insert
The 3.5" curved fascia valance, also known as cassette, features a matching fabric insert that complements the roller shade. It is specifically designed to cover the roller, providing a sleek and polished look. Please note that the fabric wrapped fascia is only available in the standard roll option and cannot be used for reverse roll configurations.
Remote - 1 Channel
Control a single window shade or a group of window shades at ONCE. Single channel remote will only operate multiple shades together, not individually.
Remote - Premium 12 Channel
12-channel remote, controls up to 24 shades. Control single shades on each channel or group shade performing the same function.
Wall Switch - 2 Channel
Works just like a wall switch. Control up to 2 window shades or 2 groups of window shades. The switch is easy to install with a standard electrical box. No wiring is needed. Remote runs off battery.

Roll Type
Roll Type
The side in which the fabric comes of the roll and whether the roll is visible. With the standard roll, the fabric comes down behind the roll next to the wall and the roll is visible inside the house. This option keeps the fabric tight to the wall on an outside mount. Reverse roll brings the fabric down in front of the roll and hides the roll from the house side of the roller shade.

Minimum mounting depth and flush mounting depth may vary by the lift control and other options. Please check our specifications based on your configuration.

How do you clean these shades

Roller shades can be dusted with a feather duster or with the soft dust attachment on a vacuum on the lowest setting. If more intensive cleaning is needed the colored side or other side it can be washed with a wet rag. Never use any cleaners with an alcohol or ammonia based cleaner (such as Windex ®).

What is the depth needed for an inside mount?
The measuring instructions stated to look at the individual product description, but i could not find this anywhere.

Minimum depth on a roller shade will be 1 1/2", Flush mounting depth will vary depending the the size of the shade.

What Is Covered

Our window coverings are covered against manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship when used as intended, provided that:

  • The product has been correctly measured, installed, and operated.
  • All Blinds Chalet guidelines regarding product limitations, maintenance, and care have been followed.

Who Is Eligible

This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.


Blinds Chalet’s Responsibility

If a covered defect is confirmed, Blinds Chalet will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace affected parts, or provide a comparable replacement.


Costs not included: The customer is responsible for expenses related to shipping as well as any measuring, installation, removal, or reinstallation services. Labor charges, service visits, and similar costs are not covered by this warranty.

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  • Improper measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear, including fading, discoloration, or deterioration from sunlight or moisture.
  • Frayed cords, cord breakage, or reduced cord performance due to age or heavy use.

Fading and normal aging of materials are expected characteristics and are not considered defects.


Warranty Limitations

This warranty is exclusive and replaces any other expressed or implied warranties. No Blinds Chalet employee or representative is authorized to modify or extend these terms.


Blinds Chalet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product use or failure.

Resolution on Warranties and Guarantees
  • BlindsChalet.com reserves, at its discretion, the right to repair, replace or refund any blinds found defective. Limit 1 remake per covered product.
  • If there are multiple blinds/shades in the same room, only the defective product will be replaced/repaired.
  • In the event that a product, color or product feature has been discontinued and it is no longer available we will provide a substitute product as similar as possible to the original blind or shade.
  • Shipping for warranty issues is the responsibility of the customer to and from the repair facility. Packaging on return shipments is the responsibility of the customer.
  • If a product or component has been discontinued, Blinds Chalet will repair or replace the affected part with the closest available match in design and color.

Returns are for store credit only and store credit will be available immediately after the items are received (Guaranteed to Love fee is not credited).
