Vertical blinds are unique in that the headrails are "universal" and are able to be mounted either direction. Simply turn the vertical blinds around so the controls are on the opposite side and they will be able to draw in the other direction.

Vertical blinds typically come standard with both a tilt control as well as a draw control. The tilt control can be either a cord or a wand depending on the vertical blind. Each control can be located on either side of the blinds, either together or on opposite sides but must be selected at the time the blinds are ordered. Individual controls cannot be moved, the vertical blinds can just be mounted either direction.
