 | 2 on 1 Headrail
Because large blinds are difficult to raise and lower, the 2 on 1 and 3 on 1 headrail allows multiple smaller blinds to share a common headrail and valance. This gives the overall blinds a cleaner appearance.

 | Smart Privacy
Standard horizontal blinds come with routed holes in the slats which the lift cords run through. With the patented Smart Privacy upgrade the cords run through a small hole located in the edge of the slat. This small hole is covered when the blinds close due to their slight overlap. The Smart Privacy upgrade is superior to the routless or no holes privacy upgrade because it keeps the blind slats in place while still providing better privacy and light control. |

 | Lift Cord
The lift cord is used to raise and lower the blinds. This option allows you to select the position of the cord on the blinds.

 | Tilt Cord/Wand
The tilt cord or wand is used to open and close the blind slats. This option allows you to select the position of the tilt control on the blinds. The tilt control varies by product whether it is a cord or wand type control.

 | Cornice Style Valance
Valance returns create a "cornice" style valance. Inside mount valance returns are shorter than outside mount returns and extend about 1 inch past the window frame on each side. The cornice valance offer a more elegant look than no returns. A valance on an inside mount blind will be mounted outside the window frame while the blinds remain inside the window frame. Not recommended with windows that have moulding.
Note: Blind must be mount to the front of the window frame opening. |

The color we chose matches well with the Brazilian Cherry flooring. They do block light extremely well, and not having holes in the middle of the slats makes a noticeable difference. This is important to my wife as she is very sensitive to light and UV exposure.
The installation instructions were well written and clear. This made it quite simple to hang them. Having measured the windows myself, I was a bit skeptical that they would fit as well as they do.
