Can the 1 inch aspen blinds be used in on RV windows?
Asked on Mar 1 2013 by jillian higgins

Yes, they should be able to be used in an RV. They can be ordered with hold down brackets that mount at the bottom of the window (onto the wall) so they do not bang back and forth while driving. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Yes, you can request hold down brackets to secure the blinds at the bottom to the door. You may also need spacer blocks to push the blinds farther from the door if your window has any molding or trim that extends off the door.

Love them, & they look great! Wish we had done it sooner. We ordered 5 of these blinds, including one with 2 blinds on a single rail. All were sized perfectly. Also ordered 3 two-inch blinds in the same order. All 8 arrived together by UPS in just under 2 weeks. We couldn't be happier ... Well actually we would have liked hanging instructions, but fortunately we figured out what to do. By the last of the 8 blinds we hung, we were pros.

These worked great on our new French Doors.

These worked great on our new French Doors. Being only 1 inch wide, they don't darken as well as larger blinds but otherwise work fine. Also, the top cornice boards were a little large for this app but I was able to easily rip them with a table saw to make them less wide. Also, the rather long wands could be cut down or easily replaced.

Decorative Tapes
2 on 1 Headrail
Because large blinds are difficult to raise and lower, the 2 on 1 and 3 on 1 headrail allows multiple smaller blinds to share a common headrail and valance. This gives the overall blinds a cleaner appearance.

Lift CordTilt Cord/Wand

Cornice Style Valance
Cornice Style Valance
Valance returns create a "cornice" style valance. Inside mount valance returns are shorter than outside mount returns and extend about 1/2 to 1 inch past the window frame on each side. The cornice valance offer a more elegant look than no returns. A valance on an inside mount blind will be mounted outside the window frame while the blinds remain inside the window frame. Not recommended with windows that have moulding.
Note: Blind must be mount to the front of the window frame opening.
