Reduce noise, stress with cellular shades
According to the Washington Post, 54 percent of Americans report being concerned about the level of stress in their lives. While there are a number of supposed remedies for stress, the Huffington Post reports that one of the best ways to combat it is simply relaxing and getting more sleep.
Physician Dr Joseph Mercola told the news source that, "sleep deprivation is such a chronic condition these days you might not even suffer from it." Aside from causing stress, being sleep deprived can result in a weakened immune system and harmful changes in brain activity.
One way to get more sleep is to ensure that as little noise and light enters the room as possible.
Cellular shades can be especially effective at reducing noise as well as keeping out a significant amount of light.
Cellular shades posses other benefits, too. The shades help to insulate rooms and may save homeowners money by decreasing the need for air conditioning.
