Many homeowners enjoy redecorating rooms - from wall color to window treatments, it's a great way to give an old room new life. But few like the extra costs that may come along with sprucing up a space. To help individuals save money, Blinds Chalet is offering a free cornice valance on most selections of their real wooden window blinds.

Wooden blinds are a great addition to any room. They fill the space with warmth and beauty, and infuse the room with a natural elegance. And a cornice valance is a wonderful complement to the blinds.

Alexa Hampton, a New York-based interior designer, praises valances. "I love using valances, especially on very big windows," she told The Washington Post. "It allows space under which to stack blinds."

Blinds Chalet's offer will enable homeowners to save money when decorating, and will hopefully encourage more people to dress up their windows.

According to the National Post, "Window treatments are an expense you should budget for, just like appliances," said designer Samantha Pynn. But the HGTV host advises that homeowners steer clear of blinds that remind them of their office.
