Designed with privacy in mind, our Privacy 2 1/2 inch Faux Wood Blinds offer SmartPrivacy™, a unique alternative to routless blinds. Our privacy blinds offer a smaller hole than traditional routed blinds that is concealed when the blinds are closed. This means less light passes through the blinds and added privacy.

 | Cornice Style Valance
Valance returns create a "cornice" style valance. Inside mount valance returns are shorter than outside mount returns and extend about 1 inch past the window frame on each side. The cornice valance offer a more elegant look than no returns. A valance on an inside mount blind will be mounted outside the window frame while the blinds remain inside the window frame. Not recommended with windows that have moulding.
Note: Blind must be mount to the front of the window frame opening. |

These are my first 2 1/2" blinds and they really do provide a more unobstructed view in the open position. Privacy is very good in the closed position, too. We ordered samples which arrived quickly. My husband and I installed the blind. Leveling for an inside mount is a little tricky. The blind looks great and shuts out the light as promised. We will now order another needed shade, assured that the quality will be very satisfactory. These blinds are better than you can get at a big box hardware store.
