I purchased these roughly 3 years ago. I love them and they are easy to clean. Sadly, these little closures on the top and bottom of the middle section keep popping off which then doesn't allow shutters to open and close properly. Hoping I can get some replacement parts to glue in which would fix them. They started falling off within the first year but by year 3, at least 25% of my blinds are missing them.

I had a few questions before I ordered my shutter, so I called customer service. Surprised I didn't have to wait or go through 10 prompts to get a real person. She was very nice and answered my questions with expertise. My order came in about two weeks later and I was very happy with the quality and the ease on installation.

The Eclipse shutters for all 6 windows of different sizes arrived without any damage. They were well packed, perfectly made and fit each window as they should. The staff at Blinds chalet were ready to answer my many questions. After measuring our windows I would talk with a staff member to confirm I was ordering the correct size shutter. The staff made some very useful suggestions. One suggestion, the blind slats could be opened at top while the bottom slats remain closed for privacy. I like that addition. They explained which measurements to use on our uneven windows. They helped us with choosing the frame and adding the correct inches needed for the frame. Yes, I had read how to do all this on their web site but would have had a few mistakes if I had placed my order before talking with a staff member. We did the installation differently. We did not use the glue and did not need to caulk around our outside mounted shutter frame. We bought from Home Depot enough FLAT CORNER METAL BRACKETS to secure the bottom corners of each shutter. The company includes metals brackets for the top corners of the shutters but not the bottom corners. To order extra brackets from the company would cost $25 for 8 brackets which included shipping plus time. Home Depot price $4.99 for package of 4. Be sure to buy correct size. The Eclipse Shutters are made in the USA. There wasn’t a long wait time. This was my third order from Blindschalet in the pass 4 years. I’ve ordered not only for myself but for family members. I have had great success with their products and do recommend BlindChalet. Just double check for correct size before placing your order. We’ve had the shutters about a month now. I believe I read the shutters have a warranty but you can check that out.
