Blinds Chalet made it so easy to replace our old and oversized wooden blinds.

Absolutely love these blinds, just ordered another set for a different room. Installation was easy and painless and the cordless lift is a snazzy feature that my wife loves.

The Embassy 1" mini blinds look good and operate correctly, but the control wand is located 4" from the side of the blinds so it hangs down in your view. Other 1" mini blinds locate their control wand 2" away from the side. A redesign is needed to move the control wand at least 2" closer to the side.

I ordered my large, aluminum mini-blind from Blinds Chalet after a friend’s dog went berserk and attempted to exit my second-floor apartment through a window. In the dog’s panic to escape, my large Levelor brand blind was destroyed beyond recognition. I was shocked at the current prices of aluminum blinds—custom or not. And I needed a CUSTOM blind, learning the only remaining choice in ready-made blinds is a cordless design, which cannot be shortened to fit by the consumer (that sucks)!
I did a lot of searching for a solution I could afford, and found Blinds Chalet. With current discount, I was able to buy a 68” by 61” aluminum mini-blind for about $125, including tax and shipping! That’s amazing.
Pros: Very easy installation; I was even able to use my existing (Levelor) brackets! Also, the customer service agents I spoke with were excellent, even suggesting I delay my order for one day to take advantage of an even better 60% Off sale!
Cons: 6-8 days shipping was actually 10-11 days, but it was also free! The color (Light Alabaster) looked darker in the phone sample than what I got, which looks more like off-white to me. Though, if it had been a real problem, I feel confident Blinds Chalet would have replaced the blind.

Love my blinds! Even though I measured wrong I was able to get a new one made very quickly! Great customer service and company! I recommend buying the guaranteed to fit option! So nice to buy a custom fit rather than a standard size window that would have been too long for my width!
