Homeowners looking to improve the appearance of their living spaces this season can look to striped fabrics and paint colors as an easy way to add a timeless aesthetic to their living spaces. According to The Star, striped pieces offer a timeless and classic look that can pair with just about anything.

"Stripes play well with other patterns," Kevin Sharkey, editorial director of decorating for Martha Stewart Living, told the news source. "They're not too girly or too masculine."

For bathrooms, the style can be easily incorporated with striped bath towels and other accents to perk up the look of the room. Additionally, you can choose a bold color for your washroom that striped accents will break up beautifully.

Window treatments are another way to incorporate the style into your home, and they have a unique ability of making a window appear taller than it actually is. Additionally, you can plan an entire room around your window treatments to create a uniform style.

Roman shades will provide a timeless aesthetic to your home and their timeless style will add texture and depth to your window coverings. You can also use an insulating liner to help cut down on your utility bills.
