Make sure you request hold down brackets if you're hanging the blinds on a door. I didn't. I had to get some from one of the big box stores. The blinds look great.

I used the live chat feature before purchasing and the person I talked to was extremely helpful. The blinds we received were perfect, except for one of the many I ordered came with the wrong style valance. Just a simple human error - and when I contacted Blinds Chalet they fixed the problem immediately by sending me a new valance. The blinds themselves are great! The privacy feature really does make a large difference compared to other styles with the large holes, and the cornice-style valances are beautiful. They were relatively easy to install and came measured perfectly. I'll definitely be using them again if I need to purchase any more window treatments.
Installation: I installed my own blinds in Houston, TX! Shelby Houston, TX  Mar 30 2012 Make sure you measure the length correct and do not add-on because that is what the track is cut to. Note that the track is not the same as the slumber track. The slumber track is wider and is black inside. We were sent slumber tracks on two of our three windows by mistake by the manufacturer and they are much better than the energy tracks. The manufacturer also sent one window track cut way too small. It takes about two weeks to receive a new shipment. The colors are different than online so make sure to get samples. It seems like the blinds are just really lined paper. The headrail does not fit easily into the bracket and is not a great design. The customer service is great and blinds chalet offers a great price but the manufacturer and blinds themselves are lacking. Not sure it is worth the price.

Installation: I hired a professional installer in Houston, TX. Liz Houston, TX  Mar 23 2011 I ordered this cell shade for my daughter's bathroom. It was advertised to be free 2 day shipping. When I filled in the requisite information a "handling fee" was charged and a week later she still didn't have the shade. When it did arrive 10 days later there were no instructions included with it. I know that installing a shade is not difficult but these were new homeowners. I don't appreciate the dishonest claim of free shipping if there is a handling fee. Even if I were completely satisfied with everything else I don't appreciate being deceived.
