Installation: I installed my own blinds in Chicago, IL! alesia Chicago, IL  Mar 2 2013 i'm Xtremely pleased w/the Quality & apperance of the shades, VERY VERY VERY UnHappy w/the measurements. i ordered 2, 32 inch wide, & received 2, 31 & 1/2 inches. ordered 1, 45 inch wide, & received 1, 44 & 1/2 inch wide. the installer, who took the measurements was able 2 complete the installation, BUT the 1/2 inch difference from what i ordered IS WAY noticeable. have a smaller BR & LR that also need NEW shades & was going 2 order again from u, but now i'm Skeptical. PLEASE advise!!!!! do u Always send completed shades, 1/2 inch shorter than the measurements sent in by the consumer?

Installation: I installed my own blinds in Chicago, IL! Luis Chicago, IL  Aug 13 2012 The blinds serve there purpose but aren't the best quality. They are very thin (not honeycomb style blinds. they are only 1 layer) so there are tiny pin hole sized holes that you can only see when light is shining through them. At night when it is dark out you can't see them so they look great. There was a small tear at the top of one but it still works. They take a long time to produce and deliver so allow time if you need them in a hurry. From the time I ordered to delivery was almost 1 month and I only ordered 2 blinds. I did like they come in a variety of colors so the match to my room is great!

Not only to they block out light, but (as stated) they also help keep rooms cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Because of that, we installed them in the second bedroom where most of the daylight sun comes through. They're great.

The only negative, they were shipped in 2 packages. 2 blinds banded together as 1 package & another package single. In one of the banded together boxes the hardware packet (for both blinds) was in one box. Upon opening it we discovered that it was missing all screws required to mount the brackets. Fortunately the friend who mounted them for me had a supply of screws and some that fit. Thanks for the quick order process. Just be more careful when filling the orders so that parts & pieces are included! Dorothy Johnson
