Blinds worked well, the endcaps however were not inserted properly causing creasing of the blinds at the top. I removed the end caps and uncreased the blinds, then re-inserted the end caps.

Blinds seemed really thin, not sure how this compares to other blinds since this is the first time I got them.

After ordering the free samples, I was confident in the materials and colors to go ahead and make a purchase for 9 blinds. I was not disappointed in the least. The shipment arrived quickly and I was able to easily install the blinds myself. The light block is total. The tracks complete the seal on the window side flawlessly making for excellent insulation characteristics when combined with the double cell foil lined pleats. The top and bottom rail (I bought top-down / bottom-up) are solid aluminum so they will never sag. The rails are matched in color perfectly to the shades.

I wanted to get good shades; and I did. I'm very pleased.

Make sure you measure the length correct and do not add-on because that is what the track is cut to.

Make sure you measure the length correct and do not add-on because that is what the track is cut to. Note that the track is not the same as the slumber track. The slumber track is wider and is black inside. We were sent slumber tracks on two of our three windows by mistake by the manufacturer and they are much better than the energy tracks. The manufacturer also sent one window track cut way too small. It takes about two weeks to receive a new shipment. The colors are different than online so make sure to get samples. It seems like the blinds are just really lined paper. The headrail does not fit easily into the bracket and is not a great design. The customer service is great and blinds chalet offers a great price but the manufacturer and blinds themselves are lacking. Not sure it is worth the price.

The shades were pretty easy to install but I was disappointed with the "blackout" feature of the shades. They are no better than the shades I had up for that purpose. Light still comes in all around shade. The shade itself is the only thing that "blacks out" any light. I was better off with what I had. Also one of the lines running through the shade pulled through causing shade to go up and down lopsided. Minor inconveinence but still a problem. Other than that the shades were well made and packaged well.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days after we receive the items (Guaranteed to Love fee is not refundable).
