Installation: I installed my own blinds! The blinds look very nice, and despite the light color I chose, they really do block out the sun. I searched for months for blinds like these and finally found them at Blinds Chalet. It wasn't hard to find dark colors, but a blackout shade in white in the size I needed was rare. The quality is very good, though I was surprised that the side edges weren't hemmed. It still looks beautiful, and maybe it would look bulky and not hang right if the edges were finished, but still it was a surprise. If I had to make one suggestion to the company it would be to replace the double-sided tape on the underside of the side valances with Velcro as it would hold better. The tape did not hold well for us, and we had to replace it on one set quite soon. All in all, I'm very pleased and will most likely order more for other rooms. Installation: I installed my own blinds! The blackout roman shades were installed without any problems. They look great and certainly provide darkness in our bedroom. The one thing that could be improved is the directions for an outside mount need to be more detailed. Customer service was very helpful. Installation: I installed my own blinds! I love my shades, but I have a few complaints. There were no installation directions included with the shipment and the color of the actual product was VERY different from the color on the website. I know that you recommend ordering product samples to avoid this problem, but if I had done that, I would have missed the 30% off sale. The sale was a very big savings because I had to order 5 shades for my bay window. I didn't want to risk the savings. I knew there could be a color variation, but I didn't expect them to be a completely different color, which I assure you, is no exaggeration. It's a very lucky coincidence that the color they turned out to be also matches my room, or I would have a big problem.
