Installation: I installed my own blinds! These shades are wonderful! We used them in our dining area which has an east and west window. They look great and are helping to keep the temperature down in our home. I absolutely love them! Installation was fairly easy, as long as you followed the enclosed instructions. Installation: I installed my own blinds! So far I am very pleased with my purchase. These shades dramatically cut the worst of the blinding evening sun from the west. They are very easy to see through however. I am pleasantly surprised, looking from the outside, how the blinds create more of a reflection, giving more daytime privacy. Also at night, the shades sort of disperse the light from my nearby lamps, to create more night privacy. I am overall very pleased with my purchase. As a side note, I appreciated the periodic e-mails after I initially requested several samples.Your company seemed to "want" my business. Unlike some competitors that I also requested samples.
