Installation: I installed my own blinds! My main complaint about this product is that the vertical vanes do not rotate in a synchronize manner (when using the tilt wand). The "self aligning carrier" does not really self align the vertical vanes....I always have to manually adjust the stems for all the vertical vanes to face the same direction. They look like what I expected them to look like, and they do their job. My only issue was I had to wipe the blinds down because they were clinging to each other after installation - easy fix though. Cheap, but don't look anymore cheap then another kind of vertical blind. Easy to install and so far (approx 3 weeks) are holding up to our 4 crazy kids.
