Installation: I installed my own blinds! The shades were relatively easy to install. Sometimes, pressing the shade bar into the grips was difficult... but still doable. I really like the way they look. The color is a perfect match to my woodwork. And the top down/bottom up option is awesome. Although some shades don't seem to hold their position/often riding up a bit. But I think they will eventually 'relax'. Customer service is excellent. My salesperson spent a great deal of time on the phone with me - making sure everything was perfect. The only thing I did not like was having to remove the Blinds Chalet sticker from the bottom of each of the 14 shades I ordered. They were very visible, and looked 'tacky' - and they weren't easy to remove - I had to resort to rubbing alcohol and a rough plastic sponge. Other than that... I was very pleased. Installation: I installed my own blinds!
