Installation: I installed my own blinds! Installation was a little tricky until I realized you had to push hard on the back rail to snap it in place. Otherwise, things went as expected. Installation: I installed my own blinds! We love these shades. They let the light into our kitchen, but keep the heat of the sun out. Our house faces east and we had no blinds on our kitchen windows and it was HOT in there in the mornings. Not anymore. We got the continuous cord loop shade. I have to admit, it was just a little difficult to install (inside mount), but we got it eventually. And I checked at night if you can see anything from outside when the lights are on - complete privacy! Good! Installation: I installed my own blinds! The blinds were for the kitchen with windows facing east, so lots of hot morning Virginia sun. These blinds must have taken the temp down several degrees in the kitchen in the morning. Now I don't mind going in the kitchen in the morning and I'm loving the privacy and the lighting is beautiful. No more of that bright glaring sunlight. I have plenty of light now, but so pretty and soft. I ordered the blinds with Continuous Loop. The only thing I had issue with was the actual installation. It was somewhat difficult! This is the first time I've ordered Continuous Loop and the headrail is different from the standard pull shade (which I've ordered as well and which was a cinch to install). I also wish there were more detailed instructions for dummies such as myself on how to install the tension tab for the continuous cord. The little booklet is great, but I need more - perhaps a video would help! I will continue with Blindschalet for future purchases.
