Measure Window Shades or Blinds for Tile or MouldingOccasionally obstructions can get in the way of window shades or blinds such as wood moulding or a tile back splash. Cut-outs can be made in the blind or shade for proper clearance in these areas. There is a surcharge for each cut made. Measure the width of the window frame at the point where the window shades will be mounted. This is the measurement you will enter. Next measure the size of the obstruction. You will need the height and the width for each. For instance, if their is a back splash, measure the height if the back splash from the bottom of the window sill to the top of the back splash. Next measure the horizontal distance from the window frame to the edge of the back splash. Using the measurements, your window blinds or shades can be cut for proper clearance of any obstructions. ....................................
