Energy Guard 1/2" Translucent Double Cell Shades

My wife and I love these blinds. When stowed, they have a small profile, minimally impacting the architecture and view. When down, they've got a clean, simple look and significantly reduce the heat loss through the windows. Just what we were looking for.

Unfortunately, getting the correct hardware has been a long, cumbersome, ongoing process. Of the four blinds we ordered, only one was delivered with the correct (i.e. inside-mount) hardware. I emailed to request the correct hardware, and it was delivered within a week, but with only 6 pieces to replace 10. I had to email back and wait another week. When the replacement parts arrived, they were the wrong color. The correct hardware is supposed to be arriving today, so we'll see. But it's been a bit of a hassle, and meanwhile one of our (most exposed) windows remains without blinds three weeks after the initial shipment. No refunds/express shipping or other mitigation have been offered.

In the future, I would want to check out another vendor, to see if anyone else could match the price/quality ratio of blindschalet, which is quite good. Again, great product, dismal service.

They look great and were a perfect fit.

Very well made especially for the price shopped around for months. I will order again for sure husband was impressed also.

All arrived in good order.
Needed different mounting brackets do to top arch window. no header to mount to. brackets were provided upon request, and i was able to adapt to install.
