Although you may be weary that a home with white floors, white walls and even some white furniture would far too closely resemble an institution, this design is actually quiet the contrary. One way to go about creating a mostly white sanctuary is to utilize your accessories and furniture as the life of the home. This apartment boasted brick walls strewn throughout, which gave the look a pop of dimension against the walls. Use of flowers, colorful pillows and airy window treatments, will be the key to keeping the space bright.

You may not feel completely comfortable with the all white, so consider giving it a try in one room at first to see how it feels. A bathroom may be a great place to implement the look as you can add life through lovely colored soaps and roman shades or fabric roller shades in a pattern that will help create warmth in your all white design.
