Home staging has become an interior design speciality all on its own, as designers are looking for ingenious ways of showing myriad ways that a home can be decorated for a wide cross-section of buyers. According to TheProvince.com, you'll want your home to stand out from the rest, but with a design that can be altered easily to suit the buyer's tastes.

"Many buyers are inspired by what they see in home magazines, so our homes have to be current and fresh, without being too trendy to the point where homeowners can't relate to the decorating," Cynthia Florano, an interior designer, told the news source.

Designers suggest using some neutral colors throughout the space and leave the pops of color to easily replaceable accents such as throw pillows and artwork. Blue is the most popular hue in home staging, so be sure to incorporate the shade into your home layout.

The use of light in your space will also lend warmth to your home, so try some soft sheer shades. They can be custom-made to fit any window, provide superior light-filtering ability and will add gorgeous texture to your windows.
