Wood blinds great addition to a rustic abode

When Debbie Farrand and her husband, Tim, decorated their home, they opted for a style that blended natural elements with nostalgia. According to The Baltimore Sun, the couple's Harford County home boasts rustic wooden furniture, flooring and lace curtains.

"I love retro, vintage and nostalgia," Debbie told the news source, who filled her home with country-style furniture and Victorian era collectibles, most of which came from Debbie's antiques shop.

In addition to its antiques, oak furniture and pine flooring, the abode features large windows that flood the rooms with natural light. Tim has set up a desk and his surveying tools, to make use of the beautiful sunlight, but homeowners with large windows in their rooms and a rustic decor should also consider installing wood blinds.
