Installing woven shades and wood blinds can help bring masculinity to a living space. When designing her home's library, designer Amanda Kyser told House Beautiful magazine that she thought a lot about her husband when decorating the space. "I wanted the room to have a great deal of overlapping rich pattern," she told the news source, adding that she hung wood blinds and had the walls hand-painted in different sheens of charcoal gray and taupe.
