Homeowners looking for eco-friendly ways to decorate their room don't have to sacrifice style, experts say.

Environmental lifestyle expert Danny Seo told CBS News that the push for environmentally friendly homes is not just a trend, but a cultural shift that can be attained in a cost-efficient way.

"You can save money, you can save the environment, and you can have a beautiful room, all at the same time," Seo told the news source.

When it comes to window treatment, Seo suggested bamboo shades, which are quickly becoming a popular product. Bamboo shades are eco-friendly, durable and easy to install.
