Volunteers come together to lift spirits of sick youth
For most, having a beautifully decorated room amounts to being proud of the creativity and effort put into finishing the project. However, thanks to a collection of volunteers in Ontario, Canada, the renovation of a certain hotel room may be a bit more meaningful.

According to the Timmins Daily Press, a group of women led by Heather Cote are putting the final touches on a relaxing room for 11-year-old Sarah Vlade, who suffers from a rare disorder called Central Nervous System Vasculitis. The room is located at the Cochrane Temiskaming Children's Treatment Center, where Vlade has to spend a lot of time due to her condition.

"We just want to make her room more of a retreat for her," Cote told the news source. "Because of her illness she spends a lot of time in there, so this will be a space just for her."
