Santa Fe designers showcasing unique style

A group of designers in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is aiming to highlight the region's flair for interior decoration. The New Mexican reports that the event is running through October 3 and will showcase the unique style that the southwestern city has to offer.

The endeavor is a joint effort between Design Santa Fe and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and a portion of the proceeds will go toward helping the Youth Shelters' Transitional Living Program.

"Everybody knows about Santa Fe style and how that put Santa Fe on the map," Victoria Price spokeswoman for Design Santa Fe told the news outlet. "I think [the events] really put a focus on how varied and exciting the different kinds of design are that are going on in Santa Fe."

Along with benefiting a charitable cause, the event will certianly provide local homeowners with a number of creative ideas for their own abode.
