Measure New Mini Blinds - Window Blinds

I want to buy new mini blinds. Can I just measure the ones I have up now or measure the window?

It depends on the type of window blinds and the application. It is best to refer to our instructions on how the measure for window blinds.

For outside mount blinds, the window blinds typically come the size ordered so it would be easy to measure your existing blinds and order that size. For inside mount blinds however, we take a deduction and the measurement needs to be the exact window frame opening. If you were to order an inside mount blind by providing the measurement of the existing windows, the replacement blinds would come too small.
